The number of voices speaking out against this wrongful conviction leave no doubt. Two innocent people will spend their 1200 day in prison tomorrow in a case based on pure fabrication. Now they are persecuting Amanda's parents for trying to expose the corruption. Sickening! Anyone who cares about justice and rights must speak out against this miscarriage of justice.

After examining the evidence objectively, it's impossible to come to the conclusion that either party is guilty. It's a shame that a prosecutor convicted of official misconduct was allowed to try this case. I truly believe the appeals process will prove more official misconduct by this prosecutor and not only will Amanda and Rafaellle be vindicated, but the parents as well. It's very simple to see why this prosecutor did this...before ever examining the evidence, he came to a fabricated conclusion that a sex party had gone wrong. Therefore, once Rudy (the killers) DNA was found all over the crime scene, this prosecutor was to proud to admit his mistake. So, he tried the case in the media knowing that the jury would not be sequestered. I hope the appeals courts in Italy are as heroic as in Central America!

Thank you for sharing this. Never in my life have I seen such misinformation and such a need for people to hold onto things that were complete Tabloid in the beginning. Is it because we all desire to see the worst in others? Is it to make ourselves not feel so badly about ourselves or to look better? It's beyond bizarre it's down right creepy!
Amanda Knox is not who some people thinks she is, wants her to be, even NEEDS her to be.
It is sad that people are criticizing that so much is being made about Amanda and Raffaele when Meredith is the victim. Meredith is gone. Nothing can bring her back. She's well though of. She's respected. Right now, Amanda and Raffaele are alive fighting for being victimized themselves. The media is the one to blame for Amanda's "celebrity" status. Shame on them, and shame of the people who read Tabloids and actually believe them.
Always consider the source.
Thanks Frank! :)

Dear Amanda Knox Supporters,
Please note a "t.v."critic went on National news this morning claiming Amanda Knox was quilty after seeing the film. Her name is Linda Stasi- she writes for the NYPost. Cooincidentally, when I went to the website to write a critical comment of Linda Stasi's behavior and ignorance, I note there was a headline from a reporter who says she lives in Italy and has been covering the trial for the Seatlle Intelligencer. Her name is Åndrea Vogt. The title of her column is " Amanda Knox is no Innocent".
With US press like this, I have much compassion for your journey forward to get Amanda's freedom.
Good Luck~

I just wanted to say that I thought Amanda Knox was innocent from the start. All of the evidence that was put up against her wasn't good enough to convict her of this heinous crime. First of the knife could have been used by Amanda in the kitchen, and the killer could have worn gloves. Second The blood with Amanda's DNA could have had it from her touching something or going down to help Meredith Kercher. Lastly the "break-in" could have been done by anyone, she could have touched it when she was opening windows and stuff. I strongly believe that this conviction of Amanda Knox was wrong.

I am really sorry for what this family is going through. But somehow I find it really hard to believe a) You daughter not involved AT ALL b) she doesn't have some serious mental problems. No one I mean no one would act the way she did when she was implicated and her trial after that. As parents aren't you supposed to have provided some guidance to this young troubled girl? That said I think Amanda should come back home not because she is innocent but because we live in a society of rules and law and their isn't enough legal evidence to implicate her. That said always remember every person who has been let free for a crime they were a part of have always paid a price! May poor Merdith;s soul rest in peace!

I am very sorry for Amanda and her family. This story is dreadful. I saw the cover of this story on 48 hours as well as many news reports. I don't think that such a thing would happen in the US. There is no forensic evidence proving Amanda or Raffaele are guilty. The fact that she is in a foreign country having to deal with this along with the murder of her friend is terrible. What I think is so terrible is that so many haters out there feel the need to make ugly disgusting comments about her and painting pictures and stories and writing books about what they all "think" happened. We all know we live in a world where people love drama and it seems people are making up stories because they are bored with their lives. If one reviews this case in depth it is hard to see her as a murder. A college kid who liked to enjoy herself and have sex, perhaps. But not a murderer. My deepest apologies go out to her family and everyone involved. I am truly sorry for Meredith's family as well for their tragic loss but I don't think they would want someone who has her whole life ahead of her to go to jail for this crime. I hope that something will come up very soon that will prove that she is innocent and I hope she will be compensated for the terrible time she spent in jail as well as the horrible stories written about her. I know that her family is not too happy with the Lifetime series, but I think it may raise some awareness and prove to some that she is innocent. I hope that it doesn't bring out anymore hatred in people as it is so unnecessary.

I must say that I didn't know that Amanda was innocent from the start but after watching many shows explaining the evidence, I am totally convinced of her innocence and I can't imagine how painful this is for your friends and family because it is painful for me and I never met you.

I am praying for you and I wish that there was something that I could do.

February 22, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterCheryl Cornell

I feel like Amanda was attacked from the beginning between the media an the prosecutor creating a case without enough evidence an they must of questioned her for hours without an attorney present. I feel sorry for the families an I believe that Amanda Knox is innocent an if the case had been in different hands I believe justice would have been served and innocent people would have not had to pay the price for someone elses crime.

Whoever posted as a guest is the absolute result of what media can do. Most people don't have the time, or frankly the desire to put in the time that it would take to find out the truth of this matter. You don't even need to be a rocket scientist on this one....THAT'S how bad it is.
For the commentator to think things that are so opposite and incorrect, of course she would come to the harsh things she is saying.
Still, mam, in all due respect...you don't know what you are talking about...at all. Please feel free to ask questions..otherwise there's a really great website I'm happy to share with you. Perugia Murder File. Best of luck to you... :)

I truly believe this is a travesty of justice. I myself would never venture to Italy. Everything about this case is corrupt. I really hope to see Amanda freed

February 22, 2011 | Unregistered Commenterjenny smith

I have to say, Amanda is innocent, it seem to me there wasn't any evidence to convict her. However, her behaviour after the murder leaves alot to be desired. Its incomprehensible, how little compassion she showed for her murdered roommate. Having said that, this young woman is wrongfully convict, and I pray along with all her supporters that she is released and come back home. To Amanda you have my sympathy, to her parents I feel your pain. I have two daughters, and a son. My son went to Iraq, as a soldier I understand what it feels like to fear for your child life on a daily basis. And can understand that feeling of helplessness you must feel. The system In Italy is flawed. If even there was one shred of evidence to show her guilt, I would have agreed with the prosecution, but there was nothing, nothing at all. I am very sad for Meredith Kercher's parents and Family, and my heart goes out to them. They have lost a treasure they can never replace. Its a very sad situation all the way around. You are all in my prayers.

I don't think she did it but I do think she knows what happened. I don't think she should spend 26 years, but sne needs to be truthful and I'm not getting that she is being truthful so she finds her self in a bad situation.

How ANYONE can doubt Amanda Knox's innocence in view of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary escapes me. Even a cursory examination of the haphazard methods of the forensic team's work on this case, as well as the fact of a prosecutor CONVICTED of prosecutorial misconduct (but allowed to conduct this trial while his case was being appealed) would be sufficient cause to dismiss the charges/overturn the conviction in an American court. But she and Raffaele are paying the price for far more than their alleged crimes...My sympathies go out to all innocent parties involved, especially Meredith Kircher and her family, but Amanda and Raffaelle and their respective families as well. Hopefully websites like this one will keep the story before the public eye and help bring a proper resolution to this case: freedom for Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito.

February 22, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterRobert

Honestly, she is guilty. If she weren't why would they care if Lifetime aired the movie? If she is innocent then the DNA will prove it. Plain and simple. In pictures she is smiling...SMILING... in her trials!?!?!?! And her friend was just murdered? What? That's not human...

i really hate that people say that either merideth or amanda or rafel is the victim its all three merideth because she lost such a precios life that she will never get back she also suffered all that pain that noone should ever experience but people out there are sooooo cruel and heartless and that will never change but also amanda and rafel are victims sooo many people think she and him are cold blooded killers and her life is beening wasted in another country away from her family and her life and thats not right and its soo sad that people think that all of these yooung people are not victims and only one can be..... ughhhhhh

February 22, 2011 | Unregistered Commenterkaysey

I am so sorry! This is rediculous, an innocent girl should not be in jail wasting away because the foreigners do NOT like americans. They hated Amanda from day one, including that roommate of hers. This is so tragic, I will pray for the family!!! I hope Amanda stays strong and does not let those crazy sick lying italians get to her!!!

February 22, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMaya

Why was Amanda taking a shower with a good amount of blood around on the floor in the bathroom? WTF?

Did this NOT seem AT ALL suspicious to Amanda knowing how much of a CLEAN FREAK Meredith was portrayed as being? WTF

Why were Amanda and Rafaela kissing outside while the police were searching the inside of the house? WTF?

Why was Amanda kissing and petting with Rafaela and sitting on his lap just before being interrogated? WTF?

Why did Amanda act so sexual and disinterested throughout this whole thing, until she knew she was in trouble? WTF?

Why did Amanda ask Rafaela to lie about their alibi? Double WTF?

Why was Amanda doing the splits and cartwheels in the police station while Rafaela was being interrogated? Double WTF?

Why did Amanda say she was there at the time of the murder with her boss? That may have been coerced, I'll give her that one.

Why did Rafaela say they slept till 10AM, but turned their phones on at 8AM? WTF?

Why did Amanda say she didn't call her mom at 3AM Seattle time the day after the murder? WTF?

Why did Amanda not act at all concerned about Meredith’s horrific death? Double WTF?

Why was Amanda at a "lingerie store" WTF? to buy underwear when she could have gone to buy just plain tidy whiteys somewhere else like normal grieving peole would do? As if they could even feel like shopping? WTF?

Why was Amanda at the store buying cleaning supplies the morning after the murder? Another Double WTF?

THIS SEEMS LIKE VERY ODD BEHAVIOR FOR A PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSEDLY INNOCENT & GRIEVING!!!

SO WWWWWWWWWWWTTTTTTTTTTTTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF?

February 23, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterBefuddled

Befuddled believes the movie!!!!---OK< not quite sure where to start with this.... If you're interested, the very first thing you can do is look at the actual bathroom scene. This is why you shouldn't believe everything you hear.Otherwise you're wasting your time here. They're innocent. If you are a mere heckler you'll be removed.

And if you want more...there's lots more from there. Otherwise, let me refer you to PMF or TJMK, I think you might want to go there and check them out.

To Claudia, or Sophie,
This isn't about Meredith. When I eat dinner are you going to cry out, why aren't you celebrating Meredith, this should be about Meredith. Yes, we're for the victim. Everything plus more has been done to help remember her and celebrate her. This isn't about her right now. Does that mean we don't care? No, just the opposite. We're talking here to people who are interested in our perspective on Amanda and Raffaele's innocence. See? This is a different topic. Your comment is entirely not appropriate. At this point, you need to go to counseling about this exact subject. I am serious. You need to grow in this area. You want true justice for Meredith? Then make sure you really know what happened. Otherwise you too, are a mere heckler, so I suggest for you also, Perugia Murder File and True Justice for Meredith Kercher. The end.
Now, please leave us alone once and for all. It's over.
