Welcome to a small collection of unique garments called Lady Justice. The purpose behind this sale is to raise a modest amount of money to pay for the construction and development of a website that will continue to tell the tragic story of Doris Jiménez and encourage international justice.
The Lady of Justice is the personification of the moral force in judicial systems. She is often depicted wearing a blindfold symbolizing that justice is (or should be) meted out objectively, without fear or favor, regardless of identity, money, power or weakness: blind justice and blind impartiality. She is also holds a set of weighing scales, upon which she measures the strengths of a case's support and opposition. See statues of Lady Justice around the world here.
